2012 Triton Gold Rules

Program dates are from January 1, 2012 to December 31, 2012.

  • This program is for registered Triton retail owners with a fiberglass Triton fishing boat.
  • Eligible tournaments (from the list of sanctioned Triton Gold tournaments listed on www.tritonboats.com) must boast a field of 60 or more boats and must have an accessible means of posting official tournament results, i.e. newsletter/publication, website, original hard-copy printouts, etc.
  • To receive any contingencies, the Triton owner must be the first place finisher in a qualified tournament or the highest finisher if the qualifying Triton Gold tournament is approved for Highest Finisher payouts, which can be found at www.tritonboats.com.
  • The Triton Owners Tournament is excluded from the Triton Gold bonus program.
  • Winners of tournaments using boats manufactured from 2010 through 2012 will receive $7000.00 for tournaments with 60 boat fields if the winner has a 250 HP motor and they are the original retail owner of the boat.
  • Winners of tournaments using boats manufactured from 2010 through 2012 will receive $5000.00 for tournaments with 60 boat fields if the winner has a 225 HP motor and they are the original retail owner of the boat.
  • Winners of tournaments using boats manufactured from 2010 through 2012 will receive $3000.00 for tournaments with 60 boat fields if the winner has a 200 HP motor and they are the original retail owner of the boat.
  • Winners of tournaments using boats manufactured from 2010 through 2012 will receive $1000.00 for tournaments with 60 boat fields if the winner has a 175 HP or smaller motor and they are the original retail owner of the boat.
  • Winners of tournaments using boats manufactured from 1997 through 2009 will receive $500.00 for tournaments with 60 boat fields and if they are the original retail owner of the boat.
  • Winners of tournaments using boats manufactured from 2010 through 2012 will receive $500.00 for tournaments that are sponsored by Triton Boats or our dealers with smaller fields 30 -59 boats and if they are the original retail owner of the boat.
  • Winners of tournaments using boats manufactured from 1997 through 2009 will receive $250.00 for tournaments that are sponsored by Triton Boats or our dealers with smaller fields 30 -59 boats and if they are the original retail owner of the boat.
  • Qualifying Highest Finisher tournaments can be found at Tritonboats.com and will be paid at $500.00 for the original retail owner of the boat.
  • Winners of tournaments using boats manufactured from 1997 through 2012 that were previously owned (used boats) will be paid $250.00.
  • Triton Gold contingency claim forms must be submitted within 30-days of tournament win and can be obtained on www.tritonboats.com by clicking on the Triton Gold Bonus Claim Form. Claim form must come complete with some form of official tournament results verification (ex. newsletter/magazine listing, website results printout, or original hard-copy) depicting Triton owner's first place finish and a participating field of 60 or more boats. Also claim forms must be accompanied by a photo showing the winning angler in his or her Triton shirt and or cap. Please allow 6-8 weeks for approval and processing. The winning Triton retail owner is solely responsible for submitting the completed claim form and accompanying tournament results verification to: Triton Gold Headquarters, 880 Butler Dr., Murfreesboro,TN. 37127.

Triton Gold headquarters reserves the right to determine final retail owner bonus eligibility for all claims and disqualify the eligibility of any individual found to be tampering with or abusing the operation of these contingencies or to be acting in violation of these rules.

Personal Requirements

  • The retail owner's boat must be product-registered with Triton.
  • Must fish all days of the qualifying tournament from the Triton Boat (except when fishing a draw, and when fishing a Bassmaster Open as a non - boater/amateur).
  • Must be wearing a Triton Boats shirt (with Triton logo exposure on front and back) and/or the official Triton Gold cap while competing and at the weigh-ins.
  • Must display official Triton Gold decals on your tow vehicle.

Registration

To receive Triton Gold awards, you must register 14 days prior to participation in your first Triton Gold-sanctioned or Sponsored tournament of the program year.

If you are purchasing your boat from an authorized Triton Dealer within the 14 day registration from rule above, then you are immediately eligible for Triton Gold contingency upon registration in Triton Gold. Owners must still register for Triton Gold, purchasing a boat does NOT automatically register you in the program. To register your newly purchased boat, you must call 1-888-8TRITON to register for Triton Gold.

Registration forms can be obtained through authorized Triton Boats dealers or via our website at www.tritonboats.com, click on Owner Benefits. There is a $100 annual registration fee that can be paid by credit card or check. You may register on-line or via mail. For your annual membership fee you will receive a customized Triton tournament jersey, Triton Gold Visor, Triton Gold Hat, and two Triton Gold Decals. You only need to register and pay the membership fee once per calendar year.

Release

By participating, all participants and the winners agree to release and hold harmless Triton from any liability whatsoever and waive any and all causes of action arising out of or in connection with the contingencies or the tournaments. Each California participant further agrees that all rights under Section 1542 of the California Civil Code are hereby expressly waived.

Taxes

The first place finisher will be solely responsible for any and all federal, state, and local taxes on contingencies.
