New Deck Boats From Triton Enhance Family Fun

Posted: 3/14/2002

The deck boat market is one of the fastest growing segments of the marine industry for good reason - these sleek craft offer more interior room and amenities than a pontoon boat, while capturing the style and performance of a ski boat. And now, Triton Boats, a leading manufacturer of fiberglass freshwater and saltwater fishing boats, has introduced the first two in a totally new line of all composite deck boats. These sleek craft are designed to enhance family outings with their incredible array of special features.

Triton's new deck boat lineup includes the following models:

210 Deck Boat - This 21-ft., 3-in. model has a full 102-in. beam for incredible interior room and stability. It rates for outboards to 225-hp and has a fuel capacity of 51-gals.

250 Deck Boat - This 25-ft. model also has a 102-in. beam. It's designed for inboard/outboard power plants, including the 310-hp 454 Mercruiser, and can carry up to 75-gals of fuel.

Fishing configurations are also available in the 210 model. Pedestal fishing seats, built-in rod storage racks, aerated live bait well and an optional bow-mounted, hand-control trolling motor are available in the 210.

Sleek, fluid exterior lines lend a dramatic flair to Triton's new deck boat series. But if you think the outside looks good, wait until you step aboard. The interior is unmatched in luxury and efficiency by any other deck boat on the market. Up front, there's a roomy lounge-seating ensemble to provide unmatched comfort for passengers - the perfect place for your family and friends to catch those cool breezes while you're speeding across the water. The attractive half-moon rear seating area features a removable dining table.

Other interior features include a built-in head with privacy enclosure, ergonomic console with wraparound woodgrain dash and full instrumentation, freshwater sink with ice reservoir and storage, multiple drink holders, recessed docking lights, freshwater washdown system, pop-up cleats, anchor locker, recessed ski/kneeboard storage locker, recessed boarding ladders at bow and stern, auxiliary ice chest and more. Stainless steel-framed canvas bimini top is standard and optional forward canvas mooring covers are just a few of the options available.

Just as Triton fishing boats are known for their exciting performance, these beautiful new deck models are guaranteed to put you and your family out front. Triton's proven vee hull design has been enhanced with a chine that extends all the way to the bow, providing significantly greater lift and a smoother, drier ride than is typical with deck boats, especially when passengers are seated in the front lounge area.

A Triton deck boat is truly built to last a lifetime, with 100% wood-free composite construction and a limited lifetime warranty on both hull and transom. Triton's unibody construction and exclusive Zero-Flex stringer system guarantee superior strength and rigidity, while the hand-laid hull ensures a favorable strength-to-weight ration for superior performance.
