2/28/2013 I bought my 2012 18 Explorer with a 150 Pro XS in June 2012. I came out of a Triton 19X3 so my expectations were shaky at best. I was amazed at the performance and fishability this boat delivers and don't miss my 20 footer at all. It runs right at 60 mph with 2 persons and gear and handles rough water very well. I did add a 6 inch jack plate. The quality is obvious. I don't think there is better boat for the money out there.

2/24/2013 I have been fishing a 2006 TR-186 for a couple of years and it is the best boat I ever owned in 45 years of fishing. Sorry to see it go, but I'm trading it for a Triton Pro 18 with the new 150HP Four Stroke. The Triton folks know how to build boats and I won't ever own any thing but a Triton.

10/12/2012 I own the 2009 18X3 Pro with the Mercury 150 Optimax. Love the fishing platform of this rig, more actual room than other boats in it's class and most of the competitors boats that are larger in length. Have not had a moments trouble with boat or motor. This boat gets on plane quickly, is very stable and you will not find a dryer ride anywhere. I fish Toledo Bend and this huge fishery can quickly become dangerous with wind and waves, my 18' Triton has brought me in every time without seeking shelter...cant say that with some 20 footers I've been in.

6/29/2012 I own a 2008 Triton Tr 186 with a Merc. Optimax 150hp and no Jackplate and I get between 57 and 60 mph with 2 people. Very smooth ride and well balanced.I'm 72yrs old on July 8. The boat is fast enough for me and also planes out in a heartbeat. I love it.Hopefully I'll be able to keep fishing it for a long time.

6/10/2012 I just recently purchased a 2012 Triton 18 Explorer with a Mercury Pro XS 150 and so far this boat has been more than promised. It easily will run 60 mph and has plenty of size for my family and me. Hole shot is extremely quick and the ride is very smooth. I would highly recommend this boat to any person looking for a well priced boat that's capable of great overall performance. You can rest assured that with buying a Triton, your buying a quality product.

5/22/2012 have a 2012 18 explorer with a 150 pro xs, hydraulic steering, hot foot, and 6' jack plate and this boat grows fins in the water! I've only ran it up to 65mph and was nervous to see what else it would do with 2 people in the boat. I love this boat! I would advise anyone looking for a boat to buy a Triton.

3/1/2012 I bought an 18 Explorer in 2008, with a 115 opt. Great speed and stable ride, but after 45 mph its very hard to turn as it has manual steering. At 54mph gps it is impossible to even veer off current course.

12/20/2011 I purchased a 2011 18 Explorer in August with a 150 Opti Pro XS from Trotter Marine in Mobile Alabama. I could not be more pleased with the complete set up of this boat motor and trailer. Ray Trotter and his employees were very helpful with helping me rigging the boat the way I wanted it. I only wanted a boat with a 150 but I did not want to give up too much speed its running loaded with 2 people 60+ mph gps and fishes great. I would recommend Trotter Marine and Triton for anyone looking for a new boat

7/28/2011 I own a 2008 18 Explorer with a 115 Optimax. This is my first bass boat and it is great for the weekend angler on a budget. It is great for any body of water. The only complaint I have is the older model, such as mine, is not rated for a 150hp and the newer model is.

7/26/2011 I own a 2010 Triton 18 Explorer with a Mercury 115HP four stroke. I absolutely love the boat and it is so stable. It cuts through the swell very well and is a beautifully smooth and dry ride. Great boat at an affordable price.

I own a 2009 18 Explorer and as an AVID weekend angler it is the perfect bass boat with the 115 Merc Optimax motor. Speed is great, fuel economy is great and the entire layout of the boat makes fishing a blast.

4/13/2011 I have a 2010 18 Explorer powered by a 115HP Mercury and it's a boat to be proud of. Lots of storage space, large livewells, and great casting decks. Triton put a lot of attention into detail on these boats. More detail than the Nitro's costing more money. Great Fishing All!!!

3/28/2011 My dad owns a 2009 18 explorer with a 90 elpto mercury and it is a very nice boat. It is a perfect boat for the weekend angler and the tournament angler. It does very well on large bodies of water, as well as small lakes. The boat it self is very stable and is fast for it's size, and has everything you need for fishing. A major plus with this boat is that it is very easy to store. For a weekend angler like me, it is the perfect boat!
