6/15/2011 I purchased my 238 Bay Explorer in May of 2010. I went into the dealership to buy the ultra smooth riding 240 LTS. However, what attracted me to the Bay Explorer is the higher sides, seemed safer for taking the family near and close offshore trips. Its turned out to be a great boat for my family of 5. Gets shallow enough for me to fish the back lakes for trout/redfish. However, it handles the nearshore/beachfront beautifully. Can't wait to head 10 miles out in it and catch Kingfish. Great family boat.
